ADA is a nonprofit health organization that provides diabetes research, information, and advocacy. The website is a resource for health care professionals and consumers. Information is available about local activities related to diabetes in Hawaii.
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is a charitable organization that shelters, feeds and counsels victims of disasters; provides nearly half of the nation's blood supply; teaches lifesaving skills; and supports military members and their families.

Aplastic Anemia and MDS Internation Foundation, Inc.
This is an independent nonprofit organization whose mission is to support patients, families, and caregivers coping with Aplastic Anemia (AA), Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH), and related bone marrow failure diseases.
Dialysis Facility Compare Tool (Medicare)
Medicare offers a “Dialysis Facility Compare” tool for kidney disease patients. This online tool offers detailed information about the 4,700 dialysis facilities certified by Medicare and allows users to compare facilities in a geographic region. Medicare also has a list of helpful questions for kidney patients to ask their dialysis care providers, including questions specifically for doctors, nurses, social workers, and dietitians.
Dialysis Patient Citizens
DPC is an independent, nationwide, non-profit, patient-governed dialysis patient organization. They are dedicated to improving dialysis patients' quality of life by developing awareness of dialysis-related issues, advocating for dialysis and pre-dialysis patients, improving the partnership between patients and caregivers, and promoting favorable public policy.

Honolulu Marathon Clinic
The Honolulu Marathon Clinic is for anyone planning to participate in the Honolulu Marathon. The clinic includes all levels of runners and especially welcomes first time marathoners. The core activities are weekly clinics that begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. Sunday mornings, starting on the second Sunday in March and continuing until the Honolulu Marathon in December. Each Sunday clinic starts with a 10-minute talk by Dr. Jack Scaff, Clinic Founder. After Dr. Scaff’s talk, volunteers lead beginner, intermediate, and advanced group training runs.

Lanakila Meals on Wheels and more! is Hawaii’s largest and only island-wide meal provider for seniors, serving over 1,700 nutritionally balanced meals a day. The goal of Lanakila Meals on Wheels is to prevent senior hunger and premature institutionalization of seniors, saving money for the government, taxpayers and families.

National Anemia Action Council
NAAC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with anemia. Their website contains information on all types of anemia for patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, journalists, and researchers.
National Kidney Foundation
NKF is a voluntary health organization that seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. Their website is designed for both health care professionals and consumers.

RSN is a nonprofit, patient-focused, patient-run organization that provides non-medical services to those affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD). Through its publications and programs, RSN strives to help patients and their family members to take control of the course and management of the disease.
Sickle Cell Disease Association of America
SCDAA was founded to provide an effective coordinated community-based approach to developing and implementing strategies to resolve issues surrounding sickle cell disease. SCDAA and its Member Organizations have demonstrated how community-based organizations can work with local and state government agencies in furtherance of national health care objectives.
Sickle Cell Society
The Sickle Cell Society was formed by a group of patients, parents and health professionals who were concerned about the lack of understanding and the inadequacy of treatment for sufferers of sickle cell disorders.
Thalassaemia International Federation
The Thalassaemia International Federation is dedicating to promoting awareness about thalassaemia, promoting and supporting studies and research for the improvement of prevention and clinical care strategies and for achieving the total cure of thalassaemia. Their organization aims to disseminates the knowledge, experience and expertise gained from countries with successful control programs to those in need as well as attain the right of every patient to equal access to quality medical care.
